It completely amazes. It is hard to wrap my head around. I am in awe. What am I talking about? The fact that the Creator of the Universe, the One who creates life, the One who heals and delivers, the Lord of all, would actually call me His friend. Little ole me. The girl who likes to sleep as late as I possibly can. The one who struggles with focusing on her quiet time with God. The moody mama. Me. God calls me His friend!
It's true. God calls each and every one of His people His friends. If you look at John 15:13 it says, "No greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." Not only does Christ call us friends, but Christ laid down His life for us! Wow!
So when you are feeling alone in this world, you are not alone. You have a Friend. Not just any friend but the best Friend. God is not just up there in Heaven ruling over us, but He is up there loving us, thinking about us and calling us His friends. As crazy as it may be to comprehend that, it is true. We are God's friends!

How You love me
It's amazing!
