Many times my husband and I have planned something for our kids as a surprise for them. It is always exciting for us to plan and prepare. The kids, however, want to know what is going on. While they like surprises, they do not like to wait. They want to know the plans now! But they don't need to know. We will reveal the plan to them in due time.
God has plans for us. We may not know His plan and that is okay. God knows and He will reveal His plan to us in due time. We have the promise of Jeremiah 29:11 that His plans are good. He will not harm us. He wants to give us hope and a future and He wants us to prosper.
We can rest easy knowing that while we do not know what our future may hold, God does. God plans are far better than any plans we could ever make.
