Satan You're A Liar!

"The thief comes only to kill, steal and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10

Have you ever felt unworthy?  Like you were just not good enough?  I sure have!  Many times I have felt like I did not measure up to what I should.  I thought how could God possibly love me let alone use me.  Satan whispers in my ear how I am just not good enough for for anyone, especially God.

You have a fight with your spouse and then think you are not good enough for them or they are not good enough for you.  The thought of divorce is suddenly out there.  Satan whispers in your ear that you are better off without them. 

You get sick or have a headache and then the thought of a life threatening illness comes to mind.  My mom recently shared her experience with this on her blog.  Satan whispered in her ear that she has a tumor causing her headaches.

The Bible clearly says in John 10:10 that thief (satan) comes only to kill, steal and destroy.  Satan has one plan, one desire...to hurt us.  He will do whatever it takes for bring us down.  He whispers little lies to us to make us believe things that are just not the truth.  Christ says that He comes to bring us life and life to the fullest.  No, that does not mean we will never have a problem or get sick.  But Christ promises us that in those times He will be there by our side.  So, when satan whispers little lies to hurt us, we need to say, no we need to scream, "satan you're a liar!"
