Who Walked Away?

"I will never leave you nor forsake you." Joshua 1:5

Have you ever asked this question, "God why did you leave me?"  Many of us have.  When we are going through a hard time we feel as though God just walked away and left us to fend for ourselves.  That can be a very lonely place.  Guess what?  God never left.  When we are in that place of despair and feel like God walked away, the truth is God did not walk away at all, we did.

God promises us that He will never leave us nor forsake us.  He promises to always be there.  And His promises will never fail.  When we can not feel God, don't blame Him!  He is still there.  He is standing there quietly waiting on us to acknowledge Him.

So when you are down and feeling lonely, call out to God.  He is right there by your side.  No matter what time of day it is or what is going on, He is there.  He will never leave you.  What a beautiful promise!
