"Let your light shine before man so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven." Matthew 5:16
I am reading a Christian fiction right now and last night I read something that hit me. The main character of the book went to his boss of many years and the boss said something that showed he was a Christian. The main guy was taken aback. He couldn't believe his boss, who he works with every day, was a Christian and he didn't know it. The boss realized his Christian witness had failed.
It made me think. I believe that those who know me well know I am a Christian. But what about other people? Do my neighbors know? My dentist? These people that I see only occasionally, does my light shine enough so they can see?
If we have Christ in our hearts, His love and grace should radiate all around us. It should show on our face, in our actions, words and deeds. I want not only my close friends but also my neighbors, distant family, and even strangers I see to know that I am saved. I want it to show on me and all around me.
This weekend, examine your Christian witness. Let your light shine so everyone around you can see Christ.

The devotion in Our Daily Bread this morning was talking about our imprint. Can the world see evidence of the presence of God in our lives? I want my testimony to be strong! When the world looks at me I want them to see Jesus.
