Does Anybody Hear?
Are we lost in our own little world? Do we pay attention to those around us? So many times I am afraid I am lost in my own life that I am not paying attention to the hurting world around me. I want to show God's love to the world. I want to be His hands and feet. Today I wanted to give you this video to watch and really think about. Then check out Debi's post at Nuggets From God. I think God must be trying to get someones attention. I hope if it is mine that I am listening. It is so important to listen when someone speaks to us. If God hadn't wanted us to listen He wouldn't have given us ears to ear. With your post and your Mom's it should cause each and everyone of us to listen to what is being said. ReplyDeleteI love that song too! I know what you mean, we get so busy doing the life that's in our face that we miss what's happening around us... we have to purposefully slow down and look around to see His promptings for divine opportunities! Blessed day!
ReplyDeleteI know I am guilty of being so concerned about me that I don't notice those around me. I want to be God's hands and feets, so that I pray that He gives me eyes to see and ears to listen.
ReplyDeleteHe tells us several places in His Word for those who have ears to listen...I think that means He wants us to pay attention to what He's telling us to do. Being His hands and feet here on this earth is one of those things and I most definitely want to obey!
ReplyDeleteI love this song too Jenifer, and you're right... It's very easy to get wrapped up in our own little world and not see those in need around us. May we all hear those nudges from our Lord and act as His emissaries to those who need Him.

Such a powerful video! We so often get self absorbed and forget about what God really wants from us. To be sheppards of the lost sheep, and to lead people to eternal life.
