Here are a couple of Easter ideas for the family:
Resurrection Rolls:
can of crescents rolls
large marshmallows
ground cinnamon
sugar
butter
Melt butter in bowl. Mix cinnamon and sugar in seperate bowl. Give each child (person) one triangle of the crescent roll. This represents the tomb. Dip marshmallow in butter then in cinnamon/sugar mix. This represents the oils and spices Jesus' body was anointed with before burial. Place marshmallow in crescent triangle. Make sure all the sides are pinched together well, otherwise marshmallow will ooze out. Bake according to the directions on the can of crescents. Let cool completely. Open the 'tomb.' Christ is gone!
Have communion with your family before your Easter meal.
Make some Easter treats and place them in baggies. Pass out to your neighbors with an index card of Matthew 28:2-7 written out.
Sweet Blessings~
