"Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91:1
Life is hard. Sometimes it is harder than others. We work hard. We care for our homes and families. We deal with disasters and problems. We pay bills and deal with debt. Life can wear us down. But, praise God, we can find rest in the Lord. When we live for Him, we can find rest on His big shoulders.
"The Lord says, 'I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My name. When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them salvation.'" Psalm 91:14-16
God promises to take care of us. He will rescue us and protect us. All we have to do is call on His beautiful name. Whatever you are facing today or this week, call on Him. Rest in God's hands.
Sweet Blessings~

I agree with Eileen. Why do we try so hard on our own when we can find help in His loving arms. What a beautiful promise for us!
ReplyDeleteSo thankful His hands are so big and strong...and I fit right in them :)
ReplyDeleteIt seems it is so easy to forget what the Word tells us, just call upon the Lord and He will be right there to help. He never really leaves our side. Thanks for a wonderful post. Love you.
ReplyDeleteGreat reminder Jenifer.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what we face each day, it's so comforting to know that our Heavenly Father is always with us, and will never leave our side.
Have a Blessed Day!
Thanks for your inspiring thoughts. I don't know what I would do if I didn't believe in Christ and that he walks with me through life's challenges.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you!
