"Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died. Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval."
Romans 14:13-18

Hi Jenifer - I think its time for me to spend some time in Romans. its so full of good advice
ReplyDeleteGod bless
Tracy
I love the book of Romans. Great scripture!
ReplyDeleteGreat verse! Headed over...;)))
ReplyDeleteJenifer, this passage is so similar to what I read today in 1 Corinthians about eating food offered to idols. All things are permissible, but not everything is beneficial. I don't want to do anything to cause my brothers or sisters in Christ to stumble.
ReplyDeleteJenifer,
ReplyDeleteI love the book of Romans, but it has been a while since I have spent any time there, I think it is time to get back into it.
Blessings to you Jenifer.
Just found you blog via a little blog hopping. Glad I did :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful verse choice to begin the week Jenifer. Romans is full of so many pieces of timeless wisdom!
ReplyDeleteHave a Blessed Day!
