Today I am so excited to be sharing my testimony with Melissa over at Beautiful Mommy Feet! Come on over and join us!
"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless,
Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a
righteous person, though for a good person someone might
possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:6-8
Oh sweet friends, Christ died for us while we were still sinners! That means we cannot earn His love. We cannot earn His grace. He freely gives it! While we were sinners, He died for us! Praise God, we do not have to wait until we are perfect to come to Him. We can go to Him while we are still sinners and through grace, be saved! Praise Him for that today.
Sweet Blessings~

What wise words you had for us today. I am so blessed that Jesus went to the cross for me even though I am a sinner. He has a great and precious love for us, praise Him continually.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you always!
I don't think we come anywhere close to understanding the sacrifice He made for us when He died on the cross. I'm so glad we don't have to do anything to earn His love; I'm so overwhelmed this morning to know that He loves me as much as He does.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this uplifting post.
I posted on facebook about your give away, Jenifer.
ReplyDeleteHi! Stopping by from Word Filled Wednesday. I have the Christmas Lodge...it is an EXCELLENT movie, I thought. Blessings!
ReplyDeletePraise God that even though we were a mess, Jesus still proposed to his bride!;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great blog! Thanks for reminding me how much I have to be thankful for. Stopping in from WFW. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteAmen! Such a great truth to share for WFW.
ReplyDeleteThis is very encouraging! I am not a morning person at all. I try to squeeze in Bible times throughout the day and feel the great need to start my day with Him, as you said. It is always encouraging to see someone do it in action - especially someone who isn't a morning person either. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi Jenifer - I am seeing Romans everywhere. think God is telling me something!
ReplyDeleteGreat post and thank you for linking up my friend. I so appreciate it
God bless
Tracy
Today's post reminds me of a Brennan Manning video clip I watch every couple days as a reminder of how much God loves me and it has nothing to do with me: http://youtu.be/pQi_IDV2bgM. My girlfriend sent it to me. Her husband sent it to her and now I and giving it to you because it's touched my life so much.
ReplyDeleteAmen, praise God!
ReplyDeleteI put on facebook that your 'giveaway' would be ending soon. Have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteSo many people believe that they need to "fix" all their problems before being worthy to seek Christ, but He desires that we reach out to Him no matter our level of brokenness, our hurt or our pain. He died for us in the midst of our sin, and seeks us today no matter where in our walk we are.
ReplyDeleteGreat encouragement Jenifer!
Have a Blessed Day!
Thank God for Jesus and salvation. Love your pretty picture. Blessings ~
