But to trust when we cannot see what is ahead?
Not so easy. We have the desire to know what the future holds and to control it. But the truth is, we are like a horse with blinders on. We simply can't see everything. God can. He sees the big picture. He knows all. How do we trust?

Are you ready to place everything in His hands? Are you ready to trust Him without restrictions?

Yes, I am ready! Placing everything in His hands today!
ReplyDeleteThat same reference from Proverbs popped into my mind while I was thinking about trust today, too! And yes, that trusting Him with EVERYTHING is so challenging sometimes, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI think I am ready, but only when the trial comes do I know for sure. I pray that I am ready 24/7.

He certainly knows what is best for us! Trusting Him today.
ReplyDeleteSo challenging! God has been teaching me a lot about trusting when I can't exactly see why. Beautifully written friend! Stopping by from Laura's blog :)
ReplyDeleteIt's much easier to trust when everything is well. Trusting when things seem out of control is a different issue. I want to say that I trust God completely, and no matter what.
ReplyDeleteJenifer,
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how much I needed to read these words, I am on journey and I have no idea where it is leading or where it will end. It is so much easier to trust and have faith when everything is going our way, when we can see what is up ahead but trusting Him when we are walking with blinders on is another matter entirely it stretches our faith and grows our trust but it certainly isn't always easy.
Blessings to you Jenifer.
Such an overwhelming thing to do, but at the end of the day --no--at the beginning of the day, we should recommit the new day to Christ!
ReplyDeleteI pray that I can follow through...
