Being a mom is hard work.  Rewarding, but let's just be honest and say hard.  We get busy, tired, frustrated, sad, overwhelmed, and emotional to the extreme.  Lorrie Flem of Eternal Encouragement has precious encouragement for moms to help us stay centered and sane.

We all know the saying when mama ain't happy ain't nobody happy.  That saying has much truth in it.  The opposite does, too.  If mama is happy, likely the family will be happy.  A dear friend always says the wife/mom sets the tone for her home.  That is a lot of responsibility on our shoulders, but it can also bring blessing.

Lorrie teaches us to be authentic, honest, worry free, cost conscience, content, and to be a creator.  She has encouraged me by a gentle reminder that when I am feeling those stressed out mommy feelings, that I need to turn to God.  He is there, He loves us and He is waiting on us.
