We get tired of praying the same prayers over and over. We feel like a broken record asking the same requests of Him. When will relief come!?
He hears. He hears your cries.
He sees. He sees your tears and pain.
He knows. He knows what you are going through.
We can rest assured that God has a plan and purpose. No, we don't see it and we don't understand. In our minds this makes no sense at all! But God knows. God is at work.
Don't give up. Don't stop praying. Don't stop believing that God will, in His time and His way, answer your need. He knows you and He loves you.

Delete"Don't give up." That seems to be a recurring message that the Lord is giving me today. I first applied it to a friend I've been praying for who doesn't seem to recover from addictions and I was wondering if I should stop praying about. I shouldn't.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm also seeing he means it for me--to not give up on what he's doing in my life, in my body. It's sometimes easier to hold out hope for others while we give up on it for ourselves, but he doesn't want us to give up on what he's doing in us either. Thanks for this!

Truer words were never spoken, Jenifer, God is at work right now in our lives, answering a prayer that i have prayed for some time... He always hears! There is an old song that says, "oh yes the answers on it's way, this I know, Jesus said it, I believe it and it's so. My Heavenly Father knows our needs before we pray and we can rest assured the answers on it's way!" I sing it often.
