It has been 3 years since the ministry of this blog began.

3 years ago that this shy girl nervously sat down at her computer, mind spinning, fingers shaking, as her heart said yes to God's calling.

It's been a beautiful journey. I have been blessed to connect with many of you outside of this blog. I have made dear and precious friends from this blog. And I have been encouraged and challenged by many of you who blog.

From this ministry, Woman to Woman Ministries was born.

Soon I was invited to join the Whatever Girls. And then invited to join Life Notes Cafe.
This is all because of God. You see writing is not my thing. I am not eloquent. I am horrible at spelling {thank You Jesus for spell check!}. My grammar is lacking. And I often feel as though I don't have anything to say. But God has laid on my heart to connect with other like minded Christians. Too often we think we are alone in our struggles and feelings. But in this wonderful blogging world, we find that we are not alone after all. I am so grateful for this amazing community.

Today, on this 3rd blogiversary, I wish I could invite you to my home where I would have a big cake with buttercream icing and topped with 3 glowing candles. We would kick back in the living room with our cake, and of course, chocolate and peanut butter ice cream. We would chat about our families, our blogging journey and we would laugh. Oh yes, we would laugh! Then we would end our time together in prayer. I would pray God's rich blessings on your heart. I would ask God to shower you with love, peace and joy. Then I would give you a big hug and thank you for stopping by to celebrate with me.

So friends, today I ask you to get a cupcake, light a candle and celebrate with me. And know that even with distance between us, I am praying for you.
