The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and
self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply,
because love covers a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another
without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received
to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.
1 Peter 4:7-10
As I read these verses this morning, they spoke to me. The first words are, the end of all things is near. The second coming is so near. It could happen at any moment. We need to be ready. And to be ready, look at the things it tells us to do: be clear minded and self controlled, pray, love each other deeply, offer hospitality without grumbling, use the gifts God has given us, live in God's grace. All such important things. All things God wants of us.
Christ's coming is near. Are you ready?
As we focus on what God asks of us, all the other insignificant things, melt into the background.

Delete"Love deeply" - that part resonates with me - and show it (hospitality). It makes me think of savoring - the people He gives us - in our home and outside - not rushing. Beautiful photo - goes so well with where your message takes me!

To use those gifts He gave us - to serve others! What a wonderful day it was when I realized the gifts He gave me - and that they were beautiful - not things that needed to be wished away:)
