So Not Okay

According to Ambassadors for Kids Club, 1 out of every 4 students is bullied- and 85% of these situations never see intervention. Bullying has become a real problem for kids today, kids of all ages. From elementary school all the way up to high school. My nephew dealt with a bully and he is only in the 1st grade! It's real and it's out there.

Stand up against #bullying. #sonotokay
We need to teach our children to not only not be the bully and how to stand up when bullied but we also need to teach our children how to not be neutral. We can't stay neutral and expect the bullying to stop. We must take a stand.

Author Nancy Rue has writing an incredible trilogy for tween and teen girls that shows the three sides to bullying: the bully, the one bullied, and the witness. The first book So Not Okay, is the story of Tori, a sixth grader, who witnesses Ginger being bullied. Tori has to decide to stay out of the way or stand up for what is right.

If you have a teen or tween in your life, you need So Not Okay! Here's a word from the author and some teens:
