Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. I love everything about it. The lights, smells, music, movies, decorations, and of course, celebrating the birth of our Savior.
For some people, the holidays are not so grand. The widow who just lost her husband. The neighbor who has no family. The elderly forgotten about in a nursing home. The children whose father is deployed. The single mom struggling to put food on the table and has no possible way to give gifts to her children.
This Christmas season, I want encourage you to be a blessing to someone. Think about whose life you can touch, who you can bring joy to. Invite the neighbor or fellow church goer over for dinner. Take baked goods to someone. Purchase an extra gift for someone in need. Be a blessing.
