Christmas is one of my favorite times of year! I love everything about it. The lights, the sounds, the decorations, the extra family time, it is all wonderful. I have many memories of Christmas that I deeply cherish.
I remember my mom and grandmother sitting at the kitchen table carefully painting ceramic ornaments for our tree. I remember big family gatherings on Christmas Eve with my dad's side of the family. I remember Christmas mornings opening gifts with my parents and siblings, then eating Christmas cookies for breakfast! I remember having Christmas dinner with my mom's side of the family. And now I have many precious memories of Christmases with my husband and children. I am grateful for every single memory.
What are your favorite Christmas memories? I'd love to hear, please share in the comments below.

We always open one present on Christmas eve. Our Christmas pajamas.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas tradition is our Jesus Tree devotionals. It's kind of like the Jesse Tree, but slightly different. We have a small Christmas tree with ornaments that go with the Bible stories for each day. It's one that our whole family loves.
ReplyDeleteSpending time with Family, decorating together, and our kids open their “Christmas Eve box” on Christmas Eve, loaded with new pj’s, a Christmas movie, a book, candy, popcorn and hot chocolate.
ReplyDeleteEating those special festive foods with the fam.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree with my grandson.
ReplyDeleteWe are creating new holiday traditions with our kiddos! So far my favorite holiday tradition is decorating the same little Christmas tree with the kids. :-D
ReplyDeleteNew Year's Eve box and being with our family.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is on New Years everyone has one present to open!
ReplyDeletePlaying games with family is my favorite tradition!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is probably our 1st Christmas as parents. We gave our ll month old firstborn a little board book called Snuggle Puppy. After he unwrapped it, I watched as my husband read the book to him, and made up a tune and sang the lines. After several years of infertility, that sweet moment filled my heart in a way I can't express. 4 kids, and 15 years later, I'll never forget it, not even the tune he made up! :)
