AMERICAN UNDERDOG

I am not a football fan, honestly, I don't even understand the game. What I am a fan of is an athlete who stands up for their faith. I am huge fan of that!

In the early 2000s, we were looking for faith based cartoons for our kids and came across a DVD of the Good Sports Gang. Being sports, we knew our sons would love it. My husband loved this was a project from Kurt Warner. And I loved finding an athlete that was unashamed of his faith.

Kurt Warner went from stacking shelves at the grocery story and being rejected over and over to becoming two-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Hall of Fame quarterback. When the world told Kurt he couldn't do it, he showed them with God, he could.

Kurt's wife Brenda Warner has an incredible story herself. She shares her story in her book One Call Away. Together Kurt and Brenda have a beautiful story of love, commitment, family, and faith. And you can see part of their story in the brand new movie American Underdog!

American Underdog opens in theaters everyone Christmas Day!

This movie is so good! Since I already know so much of Kurt and Brenda's stories, I turned the movie on thinking I would listen in the background as I got some work done. That didn't happen! I was immediately drawn into the movie and couldn't take my eyes off!

American Underdog reminds us that when the world says we can't, we can persevere and show them with God, we can! 

This movie is so good and I highly recommend it! You can reserve your tickets now for theaters everywhere.

There is some drinking and a couple of curse words in the movie, which was a disappointment to me, but it was part of Kurt's story before God.
