WEEKLY BLESSINGS {1/8/24}

Do not remember the past events;
pay no attention to things of old.
Look, I am about to do something new;
even now it is coming. Do you not see it?

wilderness, rivers in the desert.

We are a week into a brand new year. And friend, God is doing a new thing. A good thing. Whatever happened in the past, we can let go of. The brokenness. The shame. The guilt. The hurt. The anger. The bitterness. God is a God of second chances (and third, and fourth, and more!) God is a God of new life. Whatever desert we faced in 2023, or prior, we can let go and look ahead to the new God has on the horizon.

When we take our eyes off the past or the brokenness, and place our eyes on all the good God has done -and there is plenty- we expand our faith and our joy. So let's do that today. Let's give thanks to God for all He has done. Let's praise His name.
