SOMETHING TO STAND FOR

Likely you've heard of Mike Rowe and his show, Dirty Jobs. Dirty Jobs is a show my family loved for years. I always thought I needed to invite Mike into my home and have him clean house and change dirty diapers all day long, see if that would be considered a "dirty job." What do you think?

Mike loves the United States of America and what this country stands for. In his new movie, Something to Stand For, you will see his heart for this country and the people in it.

Mike, the son of a social studies teacher, goes on a journey to the heart of Washington DC and takes us to the frontlines of the American Revolution, World War II, the Civil Rights movement, and more.

I love this country, and I love history. I learned so much from Something to Stand For and deepened my gratitude to those who have fought for us, paved ways, and made a difference.

Please be aware, there are a few curse words in this movie. Mike says d**n and h**l a couple of times. While I would have much preferred the words were not in the movie, I felt it did not take away from the important message of this movie.

Something to Stand For will be in theaters June 27th. This is a movie you do not want to miss. Whether you are a history buff or know little, you will learn so much and fall in love with the USA all over again. To find out more, go HERE.
