WEEKLY BLESSINGS {1/20/25}

Devote yourselves to prayer;
stay alert in it with thanksgiving.

Our church started off 2025 with a week of prayer, then we ended the week with a prayer and worship night. It was incredible. Our pastor has also been preaching on prayer. Prayer is vital to the Christian life. Martin Luther even said, "It is no more possible to be a Christian without prayer than it is to be alive without air." We need to be talking with God every single day, multiple times a day. We need to bring Him praise and adoration, confess our sins, thank Him, and bring needs to Him. I want to grow a more passionate prayer life this year, how about you?

3805. Our youngest son who celebrated his birthday this weekend.

3806. My husband and I taking our son out to dinner and shopping for his birthday. We had a great time and great conversations.

3807. A family lunch with all our kids and grandkids.

3808. The prayers of many as I battle a horrible virus.

3809. A warm home from the frigid air.
